Always Walk Ahead: Celebrating the Past and Looking to the Future

Ordained in 1795 during the “Reign of Terror” in France, Father Dujarié secretly ministered during the height of the 法国 Revolution, 悲剧的时刻, 压迫, 宗教镇压和暴力. His ministry was directed to the marginalized as he stealthily traveled from town-to-town to bring hope to a world in desperate need.

In 1803, Father Dujarié came out of hiding to begin his public ministry. Having already founded the Sisters of Providence as teachers to the poor, he began to invite young men for the same purpose. On July 20, 1820, he accepted his first postulant in Ruille. Transitioning to the Congregation of Holy Cross
